The children were offered clay again. This time they were asked to choose from an assortment of plastic animals to use for inspiration.

The Kitah Alef children have been working on strengthening their gross motor skills in the Atelier.

Kitah Bet continues to work on building their fine motor skills in the Atelier. This week they are presented with oil pastels and dark brown circles of cardstock.

Kitah Bet children have been practicing a variety of art processes that engage their fine motor skills.

Kitah Gimmel is continuing their work with clay. In this project they combine their sculpting with natural materials.

Kitah Alef children have been practicing their fine motor skills in the Atelier. They seem to really enjoy the medium of paint and it’s texture.

The Kitah Gimmel children have been interested in nature and treasures, so those were the materials offered to the children to decorate their menorahs.

Kitah Daled children have had many interests already this school year. Among those preoccupations two of the strongest have been writing and building.

The children were offered a provocation of styrofoam shapes arranged into a structure and plastic animals. The children rearranged the materials, building their own structures.

Kitah Bet continues Fine Motor Mark-Making in the Atelier. For this project, the children first tore strips of tape and placed them across half sheets of watercolor paper.

Kitah Alef children continue to work with paint. They explore new ways of applying it, new tools, and new marks they can make.
