Kitah Alef children have been exploring light, reflection, and transparency in the Atelier.

With Simchat Torah fast approaching, all of the classes are making flags to take home and celebrate the holiday.

For Sukkot, the Kitah Alef children created their own Sukkah decorations.

For Simchat Torah, the Kitah Bet children were each presented with a rectangle of muslin to make their own flag.

In the Atelier, Kitah Bet was presented with natural and recycled materials as well as ribbons, and wire.

Kitah Daled children have been interested in nature, building, beading, and drawing this year.

For their Sukkot project, Kitah Gimmel was presented with recycled materials and loose parts to turn into a Sukkah decoration.

For Rosh Hashanah, Kitah Daled decorated plates.

For Rosh Hashanah, Kitah Alef was presented with hexagonal shaped stamps to replicate a honeycomb print.

Kitah Daled were presented with balls of clay and a variety of loose parts.

Kitah Gimmel made Rosh Hashanah cards. In the Atelier, Morah Jessica set up red and green apples of different sizes as well as a few photographs for the children to draw.

For their Rosh Hashanah cards, the Kitah Bet children were offered materials to create a beehive print.

This week Kitah Bet used balls to make art! This continues the thread of Gross-Motor Art experiences.

This week the children were introduced to stamping. They were presented with ink pads and corks. 

For their first Atelier offering, the children were presented with two sheets of roll paper.
