Kitah Bet's Honey Jars
For Rosh Hashanah, Kitah Bet made honey Jars.
The children were offered tissue paper in apple colors which they tore into smaller pieces and adhered to the jars, by painting on layers of Mod Podge. Collaging continues the focus on Gross Motor Art. Tearing tissue paper strengthens the children’s hand muscles.
The children stamped the lid of the jar with acrylic paint. They chose red, yellow, or green paint to mimic apple colors and sprinkled glitter on top of the lid to match.
