Kitah Bet’s Full Body Drawing

For their first Atelier offering, the children were presented with two sheets of roll paper. One sheet was on the table and one was on the floor. The children were given a variety of crayons to choose from. The children enjoyed working with twistable and stackable crayons at the table.

On the floor, the children were offered metallic crayons and fingertip crayons. The children enjoyed putting one on each finger and then drawing on the paper with their crayon claw.

On the floor, the children were able to stretch out and draw while laying on their stomachs or their backs. They could make big sweeping marks on the paper. This experience gave the children many opportunities to strengthen their fine and gross motor skills.
