KB Rosh Hashanah Cards
For their Rosh Hashanah cards, the Kitah Bet children were offered materials to create a beehive print.
Morah Jessica made hexagonal stamps out of sponges and corks.
The children dipped those stamps into yellow, white, and gold paint, then printed the shapes onto watercolor paper. A couple of the children also enjoyed dipping their fingers into the paint and exploring the texture.
After layering the hexagon shapes atop each other on the page, the children sprinkled gold leaf over the wet image.
