Pre-Kitah Alef Sukkah Decorations

Kitah Alef children have been exploring light, reflection, and transparency in the Atelier.

For their Sukkah decorations, Morah Jessica presented them each with a small bag of clear glue. The children then chose their favorite colors of glitter and liquid watercolor. Morah added these to the bag, then resealed it. The children then squeezed the bag to mix the contents.

Morah Jessica then poured the contents of each bag onto a sheet of transparency film to dry.

She then cut a circle of the colored film and glued it into a round, golden frame. A chain was attached to each frame to hang the ornament in the Sukkah.
