Pre-Kitah Alef’s Apple Plates

For Rosh Hashana, the Pre-Kitah Alef children decorated their own plates. Each child was given a 4’’ glass plate to paint. The children dipped hexagon stamps and honey dippers into gold and yellow tempera paint and pressed them onto their plates. Gold foil was sprinkled onto the wet paint as a finishing touch. The plates were then sealed with Mod Podge.
