Kitah Gimmel 2 Pomegranate Cards
For Rosh Hashanah, the children were presented with images of pomegranates in the Atelier. They used pens, pencils, pastels, and markers in shades of red and pink to depict the fruits in cardstock. We spoke about the round shape of the fruit and seeds, as well as the crown on top. First the children drew circles on their paper using pencils. Next, they added the details of the spiky crown and seeds. The children selected their mediums and colored-in their drawings. For a finishing touch, the children painted glue over the fruit and sprinkled glitter and/or sequins on top.
