Kitah Gimmel-1 Makes Drip Trays for Rosh Hashanah

For their Rosh Hashana take-home project, the children painted their own drip trays. In the Atelier, the children were presented with hexagon-shaped panels, honey drippers, and honeycomb stamps. The children dipped their stamps into yellow and gold paint and printed them on their wooden panel. They sprinkled gold foil over the wet paint.

Next class, the children were offered apple and shofar stamps along with red, yellow, green, and brown paint. The children chose a couple of the stamps and printed them over the honeycomb print for a finishing touch. The trays will be sealed with Mod Podge for permanence
