Kitah Gimmel’s Sukkot Art

For Sukkot, the Kitah Gimmel children were offered a variety of natural materials to turn into their own unique Sukkah decorations. These children are always collecting sticks and other “nature treasures” so we wanted to be sure to feature this interest.

The children each selected shells, leaves, pinecones, feathers, glass beads, and cut their own ribbons, (all natural hues, of course.) They strung and wrapped these materials using floral wire. Morah Jessica helped the children to create a wire loop at the top of their ornament for hanging.
