Kitah Daled’s Upcycled Sukkot Decor

The children in Kitah Daled have been preoccupied with building and engineering. They often enjoy making trash into treasures.

In the Atelier, the children were offered an assortment of loose parts and recycled materials to assemble into Sukkah decorations. The children dug through baskets, jars, and even a trunk of loose metal parts, broken toys, brightly colored lids, and cardboard rings. They strung their pieces together using wire and zip-ties.

The children decorated their creations with Sharpies and paint markers.
