Kitah Gimmel’s Shabbat Tealight Holders

The Kitah Gimmel children made tealight holders for the Friday Night Dinner.

In the Atelier, they were presented with tiles in a variety of sizes and colors. Each child chose either a larger square or rectangular tile as the base. Next, the children selected the tiles that they wanted to build with. Some children arranged their tiles in a stack, while others created more of a mosaic design. The children glued each tile down with Weldbond glue. Last, they glued two clear glass cups on top to hold the tea lights.
