Kitah Daled's Recycled Groggers

For Purim, each class makes groggers inspired by a strong thread of interest in their classroom.

Kitah Daled’s threads of interest are beading and recycled materials. They have already been creating all kinds of accessories out of these materials.

The children were offered beads, broken toys, lids, bottle tops and pen caps, metal hardware bits, paint markers, bells and wire.

The children were encouraged to choose items that would make a lot of noise when shaken together. Most of the children chose to wrap their wire into a circular shape so they could wear their grogger like a bracelet.
