Kitah Bet’s Mosaic Menorahs

Kitah Bet’s menorahs were inspired by a recent collage project.

The children were given glass and tile in a variety of shapes and colors. They glued the objects in their desired pattern down each side of a long ceramic tile using Weldbond glue. This was meant to mimic the aesthetic of cut and glued paper.

The children mixed in some white tiles as well. They were given metallic, acrylic paint in jewel-tones to paint the tiles. The children then sprinkled glitter atop the wet paint.
