In the Atelier, the Kitah Bet children were offered loose parts, recycled materials, wire, skewers, and styrofoam to create individual sculptures. The children enjoyed stabbing skewers and wire through the styrofoam and placing spools and other objects onto their skewers.
A few of the children stacked loose parts to create their structures. For these sculptures, Morah Jessica used hot glue to adhere the pieces together. The children seem to be very interested in vehicles and buildings. The children made helicopters, airplanes, trains, boats, houses, and castles.
