Kitah Bet Paints with Balls
This week the Kitah Bet-1 children were presented with an outdoor painting activity. This experience combined the children’s interest in paint and their love of movement. Morah covered the small slide with a sheet of butcher paper.
The children climbed the small slide structure, then selected a color of paint. Morah Jessica squirted the paint on the top of the slide. Next, the children rolled small sports balls down the slide and through the paint. This created long streaks of color down the center of the paper. The various balls left different textured prints on the paper.
This experience strengthened the children’s gross motor skills.
