Kitah Bet-1 Decorates Leaves

In the Atelier, the children were presented with Magnolia leaves, acrylic paint markers, and pastel crayons. This continues the thread of interest of paint, while strengthening the children’s fine motor skills. The children selected colors that appealed to them and drew on the leaves. They had to be careful not to press too hard and crack the leaf. They practiced taking the marker lids off and putting them back on. Once the leaves were dry, they were strung together onto a long wire. Morah Jessica hung the garland on the wall over the safespace in Kitah Bet-1.
