Recycled Stamps with Kitah Alef

Kitah Alef’s most recent painting experience was stamping.

In the Atelier, the children were presented with recycled materials and pastel-colored washable paints.

There were cardboard tubes and rings, small plastic pipes, small empty bottles, and broken plastic toys. The children dipped the objects into the paint and pressed them to their paper.

Each object left a different shape mark when stamped.

The children continued layering different colors of lines, circles, ovals until their paper was covered in colorful shapes.
