Kitah Bet’s Fairy Houses

Following Kitah Bet’s interest in nature we made fairy houses. The children were offered birdhouse kits leftover from Yard Day, tacky glue, and natural materials.  

The children selected from rocks, glass gems, leaves, moss, bark, sticks, and mini pinecones to adhere to their wooden houses. Over the weeks, they covered each side with natural treasures.

For a final magical touch, the children spread glittering Mod Podge over their creations to seal them.
