Kitah Alef’s Honey Jars

The Kitah Alef children decorated their own honey jars for Rosh Hashanah. During Art class, the children were each given a strip of muslin and hexagon stamps. The children printed the fabric with yellow and gold paint.

During the next class, the children paint the glass jar with honey dippers and hexagon stamps using yellow and gold paint. “Bees,” comments Simon as he stamps with the yellow paint. The children sprinkled gold foil on the wet paint for a finishing touch.
