Kitah Alef’s Apple Plates

The Kitah Alef children made apple plates for Rosh Hashanah. In the Atelier, each child was given a glass dinner plate to decorate with honeycomb prints. The children dipped hexagonal and honeycomb stamps into yellow and gold paint, then pressed them to the back of the clear glass. Last, the children sprinkled gold foil atop the wet paint.

Once the plates dried they were coated with Mod Podge.
