Pre-Kitah Alef Make Groggers
The children of Kitah Alef made shakers for Purim.
Morah Jessica offered the children assorted empty plastic containers with lids. After the child chose their container, they were offered various loose parts to fill it with.
The children selected from beads, dried noodles, and pop tabs. Then they shook their canisters to test the sound.
Next they dropped their grogger into a bin and rolled the bottle through the paint coating the bottom. Finally, the children each sprinkled glitter onto their painted grogger.
Once dry, Morah Jessica glued the lids and painted the canisters with Mod Podge for permanence and safety.
