Kitah Daled’s Pesach Pillows

For Pesach, Kitah Daled students made pillow. They will use these during the Seder to lean back on.

Each child was given a sheet of muslin. They stenciled the word Pesach in Hebrew onto one side of the fabric with acrylic paint. Once this dried, they drew Pesach imagery with fabric markers onto both sides of the fabric. Some children drew their family, many drew matzah, there were also drawings of the four cups of wine, and of course the Seder plate.

Next, the fabric had to be glued down the long side. Then the children chose ribbons to tie each side of their pillow. They helped Morah Jessica tie the first side, then stuffed their pillow case with poly-Fil batting to the desired amount.

Last, they helped Morah Jessica tie the second ribbon on the other side of their pillow.
