Pre-Kitah Alef Draws on Aluminum Foil

Continuing their interests in drawing and reflection, this week Morah Jessica offered the Pre-Kitah Alef children two large sheets of cardboard covered with aluminum foil. The children were offered tempera sticks, oil pastels, and some glitter markers.

Sammy comments, “coloring.” Ty says “line, line” while gesturing at his drawing.

They made overlapping dots and lines in various colors and mediums across the shiny, reflective surface.

Coby says, “marker.”
