Kitah Daled Paints Watercolor Self Portraits
The Kitah Daled Children have been working on self portraits. In the Atelier, the children were each offered a sheet of watercolor paper and watercolor paint palettes, watercolor pastels, and watercolor pencils. First, we talked about the shape of our faces as the children each looked in a mirror. Next, Morah Jessica talked to the children about where our features are located on our face. The children began to draw their head and features using watercolor pencils. Next, they began adding more color with the pastels and paint palettes.
