Kitah Daled Makes Leaf Table Cloths

Kitah Daled children spend a lot of time drawing. They 

Are often found at the drawing center in their classroom. 

During Enrichment the children recently collected and drew leaves to make a Thanksgiving  invitation for their Grandparents. We decided to continue this exploration of leaves and create leaf-covered tablecloths for the Thanksgiving feast.

The children selected leaves from a basket and then traced them onto a canvas drop cloth. They colored their leaf illustrations with Fall-colored fabric markers and paint markers. The children came up with their own unique patterns for each leaf. 

The children ended up making two of these tablecloths for the Thanksgiving Feast.
