Clay Plants and Cupcakes in Kitah Daled Enrichment

During Kitah Daled’s Enrichment time, the children have been sculpting recently. The most recent provocation encouraged the children to make either a plant or a pot with modeling clay.

The children were offered several colors of modeling clay, cupcake wrappers, and cardboard plant pots. Clay tools, pipe cleaners, toothpicks, small confetti hearts, foam shapes, and tiny colorful brads were also available as decorations.

The children used pipe cleaners as plant stems and toothpicks as candles. The foam shapes were attached to the pipecleaners and became flower blossoms. The children layered different colors on top of eachother to make layered desserts. The brads and hearts were used as sprinkles.
