Kitah Daled’s Afikomen Bags

The Kitah Daled children made Afikomen bags for Pesach.

 Each child chose a sheet of felt in a color that they liked. 

First, the children folded their felt into an envelope shape and hot glued the sides.

Following this, the children decorated their pouches with fabric scraps, mirrors, gems, and other found objects.

The children drew on their bags with fabric markers and wrote either the word Afikomen or Matzah.

For the finishing touch, the children sewed a button onto the pouch to close it.
