For the Shabbat dinner, the Kitah Alef children sculpted their own candleholders out of clay. First they each flattened their clay using rolling pins. Next, they wrapped their clay around a candlestick like a burrito and squeezed it.
Once the candleholders dried, the children painted the clay using gel and tempera paints. The clay was coated in Mod Podge for permanence.
