Kitah Alef’s Salt Dishes

For Passover, the children created their own salt dishes. During Art, each child was given their own glass bowl that was dipped in the mikvah. During Art class they each painted the exterior of their bowls using brightly colored non-toxic glass paint. The children traded colors with one another as they worked, mixing and marbling their paint.

Once dry, the bowls were coated in Mod Podge. The project continues the children’s exploration of paint.
