Leaf Garlands by Kitah Alef and Kitah Gimmel

For the Thanksgiving Feast, Kitah Alef and Kitah Gimmel teamed up together to create painted leaf garlands!

Kitah Alef was offered an assortment of leaves from the playground along with tempera sticks, dot markers, and glitter-gel paint in fall colors. They enthusiastically painted the leaves, alternating mediums and colors.

Morah Jessica then offered the painted leaves to Kitah Gimmel students, along with long strands of wire, fall colored glass beads, and some paint markers in fall colors.

Some children were more interested in choosing beads to string onto the wire, other children wanted to add their touch to the leaves.

The children took turns adding to the wires passing back and forth between friends as they added to the garland
