Kitah Alef’s Graggers
For Purim, the children of Kitah Alef created graggers.
During art, the children were each given a wooden ring to paint with dot markers.
Next the children each selected four large jingle bells to attach to their rings.
The children enjoyed shaking them to hear the sound they made. Morah Jessica helped attach each bell to the rings using twist-ties.
Following this, the Kitah Alef children explored a variety of yarn scraps. They selected pieces that had a color or texture that they were attracted to. Then they handed the pieces to Morah Jessica to tie onto their graggers.
The yarn added elements of movement and texture to the graggers.
