Kitah Alef Paints with Bubbles in the Atelier
Our messy art experience this week was bubble painting!
Kitah Alef was presented with four cups of bubble solution mixed with liquid watercolor concentrate. They dipped bubble wands into blue, green, pink, and purple liquid then lifted the wands up to their lips to blow bubbles onto a sheet of watercolor paper. Some children had difficulty with this. They would blow too fast or hold the wand far away from their mouth. After lots of practice, the children developed the skill!
As the children blew bubbles, they popped on the paper leaving colorful splotches and stains. The colors overlapped attractively on the page. The children were engrossed in the experience, working hard until their papers were filled.
