Kitah Alef Makes Rosh Hashanah Cards

For their first Art class, the Kitah Alef children made apple printed cards.

Morah Jessica presented the children saucers of red, green, yellow, and orange paint. The children dipped apple halves (with a handle cut into them) into the paints and printed them onto watercolor paper. They layered the prints and alternated paint colors. A few of the children were hesitant to touch the paint. There were also a couple of children who were very enthusiastic to explore the paint and wanted to do so with multiple senses!
