Watercolor Pastels and Pencils with Kitah Alef

This week the children were offered the experience of watercolor painting.

The children were given watercolor pastels and pencils to explore. They chose different colors to apply to half sheets of watercolor paper.

They also were given cups of water and a paintbrush to run over the pigmented marks on their paper causing them to spread and mix together.

Their compositions were a combination of thin and thick brightly colored lines.
