Extended Care Enrichment Program
Morning drop off at 8:00 each morning is available.
In an effort to support our Intown parents, we provide enrichment activities at IJP from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm each day during our extended day program. In the past, enrichment has included baking, science, gymnastics, Hebrew Language and more.
For the coming School year we have put together a very exciting enrichment program. Each day the children will be given an opportunity to deepen their day with our exciting program.
A Sample of what to expect:
Monday: Art & Hebrew Language
The children focus on a new Hebrew alphabet letter each week through play dough, sand, clay and more. They learn new words, sounds and expressions in Hebrew and will come home with their very own Hebrew Dictionary at the end of the year.
We focus on fostering the joy of movement and togetherness and enhance imagination and empathy to cultivate one’s self. Breathing techniques, games and story telling children develop leadership and emotional skills.
Balance, coordination, team work. Children learn fundamentals and skills in : soccer, tennis, gymnastics, t-ball, cheer, yoga and more.
Thursday: Creative Music & Movement
The children learn songs, dances and get into the beat! With an end of year “performances” in costume.
This past year, each child came home with a most impressive art portfolio with the children’s art work, imitating the likes of Rembrandt and Monet, with the children learning about pointillism, stained glass art, salt art, oil painting and much more.
